De Cavo Single Malt Cave-Whisky 0,5l w/ 47,3 % vol.

The maturation of this aromatic, unpeated single malt whisky usually takes place in the depths of the Dechenhöhle of the Sauerland at a uniform temperature and high humidity. The whiskies of the Märkische Spezialitätenbrennerei are basically single cask bottlings and are similar in their maltiness, soft fruit and warm spicy notes. The good and complex mouthfeel is further supported by a slightly increased alcohol content.

Tasting notes:

Colour: light gold, winter sun Nose: cereal, fruity like apple peel, very slightly floral, the wood aromas are not obvious, only add to the complexity.

Taste: the apple peel and the cereal aromas are clearly in the foreground, warm spicy notes, some vanilla, light zest notes, herbal like dried mint.

Finish: it is especially the spicy aromas that remain on the palate, very late even a subtle leather note develops.
