Monkey 47 Gin 0,5l w/ 47 % vol. - Black Forest Dry Gin

The Monkey 47 Black Forest Dry Gin is a wonderfully tasty gin with 47 hand-picked botanicals. These include coriander, acacia flowers, ginger, lavender, cranberry, lemon and spruce shoots.

Around a third of the ingredients for this special gin come from the Black Forest and are definitely not what you would call typical Ginaromen! At the heart of this gin are cranberries, which are very typical of the Black Forest. The botanicals are macerated with alcohol in particularly soft water from the Black Forest before distillation.

The label is a tribute to Max the monkey, whose image was found on a bottle in a dusty box with the original recipe of this juniper spirit. With this recipe, the British gentleman Montgomery Collins distilled the national drink of his homeland with ingredients from the Black Forest.
